Since watching so much Doctor Who (which is a show that everyone should watch (which is on Netflix)) I have developed a man-crush on David Tennant.

I feel the need to go back and watch Harry Potter 4 again to see him play Barty Crouch Jr.

He says “You want I should put mustard on it.”

An Egg
It was a car accident. Nothing particularly remarkable, but fatal nonetheless. You left behind a wife and two children. It was a painless death. The EMTs tried their best to save you, but to no avail. Your body was so utterly shattered you were better off, trust me.
And that’s when you met me.
“What… what happened?” You asked. “Where am I?”
“You died,” I said, matter-of-factly. No point mincing words.
So as not to spam your Dashboard I have included this handy “Read More” button. I urge you to keep reading because this is crazy awesome, for the anit-religious, don’t worry, this has nothing to do with Christianity, it is merely a very different imagining of an afterlife. READ IT.
That question “why is our generation so depressed?”
Then I take a look and notice that we are a generation at the peak of social media. The reason why it’s expressed so frequently is because we have Facebook and twitter and tumblr to express how we feel. whereas our parents and grandparents had each other and their technology, so being “depressed” wasn’t as open as it is today.
That is all
I notice the same thing recently as well and I came up with a theory of my own. Everyone is depressed because we are all addicted to Dopamine. Not Dope the drug, dope the hormone. Whenever you learn something new, dopamine is released into your brain and it feels good, that is why humans have the urge to learn more and expand our creational abilities, also a leading factor in evolution and our race becoming the top of the food chain.
With the Internet though, sites like tumblr, reddit, Facebook, and twitter have gotten is addicted to the sensation of discovering new information, and by the time we run out of social media we have nothing left to learn and no way of keeping up our high at such a fast rate. Hence the bad feelings and unsatisfaction.
